    Yeah much as I hate the Dodgers, you want to see Joe Torre, one of baseball's good guys go far in the playoffs.

          Hmmm. Sounds like a personal problem:)
          
          I hate the end of baseball season. Always, no matter how the season has gone. Can't root for Joe Torre while he's got that d*dger shit on. Nor the pinstripes. Ugh.
          
          For me, it's go Cubbies, at least for this first series. After that, we'll see.

            There is always the entertaining/annoying game of 'spot the ex-Giant' in any of these lineups.
            
            Ex-A's too, for that matter.
            
            As for the Evil Monkeys versus the Sox: Toss-up. I'm pulling for the team in red.

              In past years, it was the "ex-Cub" factor. Allegedly if the playoff team had more than three ex-Cubs on it, they were doomed.
              
              Soooo does that mean if the Cubs have more than three ex-Giants or ex-A's on their team, they're doomed?? :)

            Yeah I hear ya. A cpl Thanksgivings ago, my fiance and her daughter and I were driving on the Hollywood Freeway and we passed the Dodger Stadium offramp. I couldn't resist chanting, "Beat LA! Beat LA!" *g*
